The Challenge

Building a mobile-powered On-Demand innovation in the food and beverage space meant our product specialists and engineers had to combine market knowledge, business process innovation and engineering chops to build and deploy a solution that complies with local laws, provides an efficient digital commerce store and a user experience that creates incentives for users to stay as loyal customers. The core challenges involved building a rich product catalogue and menu, a seamless check-out and payment engine, an efficient delivery management module and a comprehensive customer management solution.

The Solution

TheAppLabb team created an online retail mobile application that allows users to order their favourite alcoholic beverage from the nearby liquor store and then get it delivered at the convenience of their home.  

Product Catalog: An easy-to-use and intuitive menu that serves up the beverage list with the ability to change pricing and promotions. 

Order Processing: A secure add-to-cart and efficient check-out process with multiple payment options. 

Delivery Management: A delivery process where the delivery agent picks up the order from the nearby liquor store, delivers it to the customer’s chosen location as well as manages empty bottle returns.

The Dial-A-Bottle app for the Toronto franchise today complements a well-run alcohol delivery business and has created a new channel for them to offer customer convenience.
